It is time for the real start of the year! This year, February 17th marks the Lunar New Year. Much like Christmas in Denmark, Koreans gather with family to celebrate, sharing traditional foods like Tteokguk (rice cake soup).
We wish you a wonderful Seollal and want to sincerely thank you for joining and supporting us. Let’s make this year even more exciting together, with all the energy of the Red Horse!

Jangs, Korean Seasoning
At the heart of Korean cooking is seasoning.
Soy sauce (ganjang), soybean paste (doenjang), chili paste (gochujang), and salt form the foundation of Korean cuisine. Each is used on its own, and sometimes blended (like in ssamjang)to create deeper, layered flavors.
These seasonings are often fermented, which gives them both complexity and health benefits, while also reminding us to use them with care due to their intensity and saltiness.
In this workshop series, we’ll take a closer look at jangs, the backbone of Korean cooking, and explore how they are used in everyday dishes. We’ll cook together, taste together, and share the table.
If you’re curious about Korean food beyond recipes, we’ll be waiting for you.
2026 Korean Cooking Workshop
Kimchi is not just napa cabbage kimchi. This spring, we’ve created a space to make and enjoy different kinds of kimchi together.
We’ll explore the many faces of kimchi by making them side by side, and share a table with dishes that pair well with each kimchi. It’s a chance to slowly and fully experience how rich and diverse the Korean table can be.
The workshop is limited to a small group of up to 12 participants,
and you’ll take home the kimchi you make yourself.
We’ll be waiting for you at the table.

Student benefit: Physical Textbooks
We offer a complimentary textbook in e-book format, provided by KSI.
However some students prefer physical books foe various reasons, so we direct them to a reputable Korean textbook seller in Europe. They provide excellent service, a broad range of selections, and very competitive prices.
They are now providing our students with an exclusive discount of 5% on their purchases through 2026.
Once you have completed your enrollment, please reach out to us if you wish to purchase a physical book, and we will provide you with the discount code.
